Our company is a new and innovative textile business. Founded in 1994 by Janet Stoyel. Situated in an area of outstanding natural beauty in the Blackdown Hills of the East Devonshire countryside, The Cloth Clinic designs and creates futuristic and revolutionary textiles, materials and products for architectural, interior, exhibition and fashion applications.

The Cloth Clinic specialises in the creation of unique decorative materials. Two hi-tech patented processes utilising Photon Laser and Ultrasound technology, designed specifically to exclude the use of dyes, chemicals and wet processes in the decorative procedures, are applied to a wide variety of base materials to change the molecular structure, generate textural qualities and transform surface colouration. The resultant materials are magical, rich and opulent.

Many different types of base materials are stocked and each may be decorated according to client specification. As each material is created to order, decorative effects may be positioned precisely to client requirement. Single motif placements, border designs and all-over patterning are feasible and a comprehensive library of designs, patterns and colour effects is available to assist personal selection.

We are able to offer: small quantity production, batch pieces and commercial volume.
